The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is now accepting applications for the Indigenous Language Revitalization Scholarship.
Ten scholarships valued at $5,000 each will be awarded to eligible NWT students enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree programs, or other training that supports Indigenous language revitalization during the upcoming academic year.
Priority will be given to NWT students enrolled in programs offered by accredited post-secondary institutions.

Preference is given to those:
- Enrolled in programs offered by accredited post-secondary institutions.
- Planning on returning to the NWT after graduation to pursue a career focused on Indigenous language revitalization.
- Who demonstrate a commitment to Indigenous language revitalization.
- Complete the application and prepare your supporting documents.
- Submit your completed application before the deadline to Indigenous_languages@gov.nt.ca.
The application deadline is December 1, at 5 p.m.
