The Canadian Security Association (CANASA) is committed to empowering exceptional individuals and families dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of our communities through the provision of impactful financial support for educational pursuits.

Eight (8) $2,500 scholarships are available.

How to Apply

  • Applicants must be Canadian citizens.
  • 5 x $2,500 Scholarships open to CANASA members as well as dependents of CANASA members and those of First Responders.
  • 3 x $2,500 for students enrolled in an accredited post-secondary security or policing program in Canada. Awarding of scholarship to be based on merit of applicant.

A complete application will answer the two mandatory questions from the website as well as two optional questions.

The Scholarship Selection Committee will be comprised of a representative from CANASA Regional Councils across Canada, National Board members may also assist with the program. The Committee will blindly review applications, and select up to 8 scholarship recipients per year. The Scholarship Selection Committee will grade all submissions based on the chart provided on their website.

Winners will be announced starting in April.

In an effort to identify authentic, original answers that reflect your own experiences, submissions generated by AI may be disqualified.

Funds will be paid directly to the winner.
