Access Communications are committed to giving back to local youth who volunteer their time to improve their communities. The Access Communications Doug Alexander Scholarship Program grants $1,000 to 20 Saskatchewan high school graduates every year. The Access Communications Fred Wagman Entrance Scholarship in Film & Video supports aspiring filmmakers at the University of Regina. And they award scholarships to students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic for their Computer Networking Technician and Telecommunications Network Technician certificate programs.

- Applicants must be grade 12 students.
- Applicants must be attending post-secondary school starting in the Fall.
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Applicants must reside in an Access Communications service area.
- Current Access Communications Co-operative board members and staff, and their siblings,
children, and grandchildren are not eligible for our Scholarship Program.
To be considered for an Access Communications Scholarship, you must submit the following:
- Application form and supporting documents.
- Social Insurance Number (required according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines if selected).
- Acceptance or conditional acceptance letter from a technical school or university.
- Letter of recommendation from volunteer organization.
- Most recent High School transcript (photocopy is acceptable for application).
- Grade 12 grad photo in JPEG or PNG file format (may be submitted later).
- Demonstrated record of volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities.
- Demonstrated participation in extracurricular school activities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated academic achievement.
- Applicants must have the endorsement of their school guidance counsellor or principal.
