Open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and postgraduate students in the U.S. or Canada enrolled or accepted at an accredited college, university, or institute.
Applicants must be submitted online.
Participants are required to submit an essay, video, or infographic on the topic: “How can an integrated restoration plan simultaneously address immediate structural recovery, long-term water and fire resilience, compliance with HPD violations, and sustainable home renovation — without sacrificing affordability for the homeowner?”
- Essay: 800-1,200 words, double-spaced, in a PDF or Word format.
- Video: 3-5 minutes long, uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with the link submitted in the application form.
- Infographic: One-page design in PDF or high-resolution image format (JPEG/PNG).
Judging Criteria:
- Relevance to the chosen topic.
- Originality and creativity.
- Clarity and coherence of ideas.
- Quality of research and examples provided.
- Overall presentation and adherence to submission guidelines.
