Each year the UFCW Charity Foundation awards several scholarships of up to $8,000 each to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents under the age of 20.
Past scholarship winners have gone on to make significant contributions to society and to the UFCW—entering a range of fields, including public service, medicine, law, business, and teaching. Many have returned to the UFCW as staffers, organizers, and community activists who contribute to the UFCW mission.

UFCW members or their unmarried dependents under the age of 20 are eligible for this award.
The application requires you to fill out a family profile; list school activities, awards, and your work experience; and complete an essay.
- Only scholarship winners will be informed by mail.
- The names of the recipients will be published on the UFCW Charity Foundation website at www.ufcwcharityfoundation.org .
UFCW employed officers, staff, and their immediate families are not eligible.
