The SOCAN Foundation Music Creator Scholarship supports the next generation of Canadian music creators who are currently enrolled in post-secondary education and specializing in music production, composition, or songwriting. This scholarship is intended for students who demonstrate creative promise and would benefit from financial support to pursue their education at an accredited post-secondary institution.
Scholarships are valued between $1,000 and $5,000 and are awarded as a one-time grant. Funds may be used to help offset education-related expenses such as tuition, course materials, and other costs directly associated with post-secondary study.
