Are you passionate about building a career in retail? Enrolled in a related post-secondary program and currently working in retail? This year, the RCC Retail Education Scholarship Program is offering even larger awards to support and celebrate Canada’s brightest retail talent.
Retail Education Scholarship Program winners will receive financial assistance for their post-secondary education, and the opportunity to network and engage with the brightest professionals in the Canadian retail industry.
$60,000 + in scholarships available—awards from $3,000 to $5,000.

Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Education: Enrolled (full-time or part-time) at a Canadian college or university for Fall
2026 in a retail-related program (e.g., retail, business, fashion, marketing, analytics,
supply chain, IT/cybersecurity for retail, etc.). - Industry connection: Currently working (part-time or full-time) in the retail industry or
meaningfully pursuing a retail career pathway.
Apply through the online application portal. Applicants must upload the following:
- Transcripts covering two most recent semesters
- Proof of enrolment
- Employer reference letter
- Essay (800-1,000 words) on a provided topic
- “Make Retail Your Career” presentation (2-3 minutes)
- Applications will be reviewed by a panel of retail industry experts.
- Every effort will be made to engage a cross‐section of Canadian industry professionals who possess a range of experience in the review process.
- Will be assessed on completeness of requirements.
- Will evaluate to what extent applicants have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in retail and what degree of thought they have put into the ways they will make an impact on the retail industry.
