In 2025, OFSAA will award the Character Athlete Award to two males recipients and two female recipients who embody OFSAA’s values of leadership, commitment, equity, respect and sportsmanship. Nominations for students in all grades will be accepted. Nominations must be for student-athletes who competed in an individual or team high school sport. Competing at an OFSAA event is not a prerequisite.
The Character Athletes will be profiled in OFSAA’s Bulletin magazine, on their website, and in their seasonal E-Newsletter. They will also receive a $500 grant from Baron, and a commemorative plaque from OFSAA to recognize this accomplishment.
