The Lifemark Scholarship for Black and Indigenous Students was created to support diversity within the occupational therapy and physiotherapy professions. The annual scholarship is available to students from Black and Indigenous communities and provides financial support for those pursuing post secondary learning in a recognized Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Masters program in Canada.

The award offers a $5,000 scholarship and a post graduation mentorship. Should you choose to proceed with the mentorship, there are multiple select locations to choose from.

How to Apply

  • Must be a full-time student in good academic standing.
  • Currently attending an Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Masters programs
  • Must be a member of the Black and/or Indigenous Community. (Indigenous Heritage will be verified).
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Applications are accepted year-round and decisions will be made each November and notifications sent in early January.

Identity and school admission will be verified prior to the scholarship payment.
