The Goyal Development Sustainability & Resilient Homes Scholarship is an annual initiative that supports students in the USA and Canada who are passionate about sustainable housing, resilient infrastructure, and future-focused design.

- High school seniors, undergraduates or postgraduate students in the USA or Canada.
- Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted at an accredited college, university or institute.
All applications must be submitted via our online scholarship form (no email submissions).
Essay Requirements
- Format: Essay only.
- Length: 1,500–2,000 words.
- File type: PDF only.
Students can choose any of the topics on the website for their essay response.Must include real-world examples, case-studies or well-thought hypothetical scenarios.
Judges will be looking for a thoughtful, evidence-based response.
This is not about listing the most technical facts. This is about integration — seeing how structure, hydrology, fire-safety, design, regulation and cost all interrelate. They want writing that is as financially realistic and structurally sound as it is creatively compelling.
