The Gail Hartsook Scholarship is an educational fund managed by the Prince Albert & Area Community Foundation (PAACF) in Saskatchewan, Canada, dedicated to supporting students pursuing a career in Social Work.
There are two $2,000 scholarships available.

- Must be a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary Social Work program
- Must reside in the area served by the Prince Albert and Area Community Foundation, though they may be temporarily away to take classes elsewhere in Saskatchewan
- Preference is given to applicants with a grade average of 65% or higher
- Preference is also given to First Nations/Métis applicants, reflecting Gail Hartsook’s work with and among First Nations People
Application form can be downloaded from the application website. Applicants must submit:
- A brief 1-2-page personal essay describing your reasons for seeking Social Work accreditation. Also describe the expected impact of this education for yourself, your family and others, and the importance of receiving financial support through a Scholarship
- A Reference Letter from someone who knows your academic work
- A Reference Letter from someone who knows your community work
Scholarship is awarded at the PAACF Granting Ceremony in June.
