If you are an engineering undergraduate or graduate student, or an engineer looking to expand their knowledge, you may be eligible for an Engineers Canada Scholarship. There are 14 scholarships totaling over $90,000 available to help engineering professionals and students explore their interests and passions.
From chemical engineering, environmental engineering, to mechanical engineering and more, Engineers Canada Scholarships have enabled engineering students and engineers to confidently continue to spark change and make notable contributions to our society.
Undergraduate students are eligible to receive $4,000 each annually, while graduate students will be eligible to receive up to $12,500.

To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
- Be registered for a minimum of two full-time semesters for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Additional Requirements (Engineers Canada Leadership Scholarships):
- At the scholarship deadline, be enrolled full-time and in good standing with a CEAB-accredited undergraduate engineering program.
- As of August 31, 2024, have completed at least one year of undergraduate engineering studies at an CEAB-accredited program.
- Have not previously received the Engineers Canada Leadership Scholarship.
Additional Requirements (Engineers Canada-Manulife Scholarships)
- Be registered as an engineer (P.Eng) / ingénieur (ing.) in good standing with one of the 12 regulators throughout the duration of their academic year.
- Engineers-in-training and junior engineers with l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Not a post-doctoral fellow.
- Have not previously received this scholarship or the Engineers Canada-TD Meloche-Monnex Scholarship.
Additional Requirements (Engineers Canada-TD Insurance Meloche Monnex Scholarship)
- Be registered as an engineer (P.Eng) / ingénieur (ing.) in good standing with one of the 12 regulators throughout the duration of their academic year.
- Engineers-in-training and junior engineers with l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Not a post-doctoral fellow.
- Have not previously received this scholarship or the Engineers Canada-Manulife Scholarship.
The nomination form must be completed online in a single session (you cannot save your work and come back to it later). It is strongly recommended to read the nomination form entirely before you begin to ensure you have all necessary information and documents ready. Engineers Canada Leadership Scholarships:
- An electronic copy of your transcripts for your current engineering program. An unofficial copy is acceptable.
- Two letters of support – Each letter should provide evidence and validation of the contributions described in the nomination package. (2 pages maximum per letter)
- At least one letter should come from a member of faculty with knowledge of the student.
- Letters of support in sealed and signed envelopes are not required. However, if provided, they should be mailed to:
