Each year, the CIP/ICU Planning Student Trust Fund (CIP-PSTF) offers scholarships and bursaries to CIP student members who are enrolled full-time in accredited Canadian planning programs.
CIP-PSTF’s 2024 Bursaries are:
- SOAR Professional Services Indigenous Student Bursary – $5,000 (undergraduate or postgraduate students)
- CIP Diversity Impact Bursary (three available) – $5,000 (undergraduate or postgraduate students)
- College of Fellows Undergraduate Bursary – $5,000 (undergraduate students)
- David Palubeski Bursary – $5,000 (postgraduate students)
- Ted Fobert and Robert Tennant Planning Merit Bursary – $3,000 (postgraduate students)
- John Bousfield Bursary – $3,000 (undergraduate or postgraduate students)

An applicant must be a CIP student member in good standing for the current academic year – Professional (MCIP) and Candidate members who have returned to school are not eligible. CIP Student Membership is free.
They must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited Canadian planning program during the term of the awarding of the scholarship.
Apply online. Applicants only need to submit one form in order to be considered for all bursaries they are eligible for.
The jury will verify that all eligibility criteria have been met. Their decision is final.
