Aqueduct Foundation offers community-based scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary studies at accredited institutions. These scholarships are offered to students within a particular community, that may be defined by geography, a particular population, area of study etc. These scholarships are funded by individual donor-advised funds at Aqueduct Foundation.
The Be a Creator Scholarship will be awarded to a student who identifies as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or Person of Colour), is pursuing a degree in any creative arts program, and is attending a college or university in Canada. The Scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year if the recipient is attending university, $6,000 if the recipient is attending college, both renewable up to four years.
The Be the Future Scholarship will be awarded to a student residing in Ontario who will be attending a Canadian university. The Scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year, renewable up to four years.
The Be a Healer Scholarship will be awarded to a student residing in Ontario who is pursuing studies in a mental health-related field (e.g., psychiatry, psychology, social work, counselling, therapy) at a college or university in Canada. The Scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year if the student is attending university and $6,000 if the student is attending college, renewable up to four years.
The Dave Donley Jr. Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two students pursuing post-secondary studies in Alberta in the areas of computing and Information Technology. There are two awards available annually of $10,000 each.
The H2HEducate Scholarship is open to students at Cathedral High School in Hamilton, ON and Orchard Park Secondary School in Stoney Creek, ON who have been accepted at a Canadian post-secondary institution (college, university, or technical school). The scholarship will be awarded to two (2) students per year, one from each school, and has a value of $7,000 per year, per student. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of the student’s post-secondary education if the conditions of the scholarship are met.
The Ignite Resilience Scholarship is available to individuals in the greater Toronto area who have been accepted at or who are currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution (university, college, or technical school). Preference will go to mature students who are currently attending a post-secondary institution or who wish to return to school following a hiatus. The scholarship will be awarded to two (2) students per year and has a value of $5000 per annum, per student. The scholarship is renewable for each year of the student’s post-secondary program (up to four years total) if the conditions of the scholarship continue to be met.
The John F. Hilliker Scholarship shall be open to newly graduating high school students from South Kamloops Secondary School, who are interested in pursuing post-secondary education at Queen’s University in Ontario. The Scholarships will provide one award of $10,000 per annum to be used for tuition and student fees.
The North Queens Community Scholarship aims to provide consistent financial support to capable students who demonstrate a combination of academic success, financial need, community engagement, and extracurricular involvement. The renewable $5000 scholarship will be awarded to three (3) graduates of North Queens Community School in Caledonia, NS each year.

Basic eligibility:

- Demonstrate financial need
- Individuals returning to post-secondary education after a hiatus are also welcome to apply
