This scholarship supports students who are determined to pursue their academic and college goals despite financial challenges. For many capable students, costs associated with opportunities such as AP exam fees, SAT preparation or tutoring, application fees, and other academic resources can create barriers to success.
Five $500 scholarships are available.

All active NSHSS Ambassadors in good standing are eligible to apply. Applicants must be current participants in the NSHSS Ambassador Program during the application period.

- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- Describe how this scholarship would help you pursue your academic and college goals. Please share the challenges you’ve faced in covering educational expenses and how this support would make a difference in your journey. You may also include ways you’ve demonstrated determination or resourcefulness in achieving your goals despite financial barriers.
- Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
- Color headshot suitable for website posting
- Academic resume
