The Castle Trade Scholarship Program is for individuals pursuing skilled trades in Canada. Students of any age are eligible to apply for a Castle Trade Scholarship of $2,500 for their studies in an eligible skilled trade program at a recognized Canadian Trade College.
The Castle Trade Scholarship Program will be recognizing skilled trade students who demonstrate strong work ethics and character, academic and/or professional ambition, diligence, skillfulness, and achievement, as well as passion to inspire positive change in their community.

This program is open to applicants of any age who:
- Have Canadian Citizenship and/or Permanent Resident status.
- Have a Canadian SIN (Social Insurance Number)
- Entering First or Second Year of an eligible skilled trade program at a recognized Canadian trade college
Download and complete the Castle Trade Scholarship Application Form and submit the application with the following:
- 500-word essay (12pt font double spaced) describing your career aspirations and goals, extracurricular activities, and community involvement over the last few years.
- Copy of your Admittance and Confirmed Acceptance from the college into your Trade program.
- Minimum of one letter of recommendation from either a teacher, principal, clergy, business, or community leader.
Include a copy of one of the following:
- Your Final High School Graduating Transcript or high school diploma.
- Your GED certificate.
- Copy of your first-year grades if entering the second year of your trade program.
Those applicants who have not attended school in the past five years must include a recent CV and/or detailed information of your recent work and life experience.
