The Young Scholars Program by Take a Pain Check Foundation is an annual scholarship program that aims to relieve financial hardship and other academic barriers faced by students living with rheumatic diseases through financial assistance. The program consists of 2 scholarship pathways: The “Learn without Limits” scholarship for one student pursuing higher education in any field, and the “STEM Without Limits” scholarship for one student studying science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. The 2 scholarships, totalling $5,000 CAD, will recognize outstanding academic achievement and a strong dedication to community involvement.

Eligibility Requirements
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Diagnosed with a rheumatic disease
- Currently enrolled full- or part-time in a Canadian university/college/trade school
- Applicants must be 16-29 years old
- Display academic excellence
- Making a difference in their community
