There is a significant gap between the enrolment of Indigenous and non-Indigenous women at Canadian universities. There are many historical social, economic and political reasons for this, including barriers to funding. To do their part in contributing to reconciliation, Girls Write The Future has created a scholarship for Indigenous women to pursue an undergraduate education at any university across Canada.
This scholarship will cover up to $5,000 of tuition fees per year for students beginning their studies at any accredited university in Canada.
