The JHF committee was formed in 2011 after the passing of the late Jerome Henry. It consists of 10 family members who were inspired to carry on the legacy of a phenomenal man. The JHF committee is guided by Jerome’s core values and his belief that education is a major key to success. The JHF committee strives to enhance the educational opportunities of young people and inspire individual greatness in the next generation of leaders.
Two scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded to university applicants and two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to college applicants.

Applications will be considered once the following eligibility requirements are met:
- The applicant demonstrates a financial need for the scholarship.
- The minimum academic requirements are met (75% for high school students applying to university, 70% for students already enrolled in a post-secondary institution, 65% for high school students applying to college).
- The applicant resides in the GTA.
- The applicant is a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant and permanent resident of Canada.

- Academic Transcript which shows your Grade 11-12 marks. For university applicants who are currently in high school a minimum B (75%) average is required. For students who are currently in high school and applying to college a minimum C (65%) average is required. For applicants who are currently enrolled in post secondary studies, a minimum B- 70% average is required.
- Proof of Identification/Residence in the Greater Toronto Area.

- Two Letters of Recommendation. At least one must be completed by a: Teacher, Guidance Counsellor, Vice-Principal or Principal. Contact information must be included for verification purposes.
- Personal Statement (Maximum 750 words) explaining how your education and career goals are aligned with the core values of Jerome Henry Foundation. It should also include non-academic attributes such as service to the community, leadership and extra- curricular activities. Also, indicate what receipt of the scholarship would mean to you.
- Financial Statement
- Proof of Acceptance to a post-secondary institution.
