What’s your relationship like with money—committed, non-existent, complicated? From the money management moguls to the beginner budgeters, becoming an expert in financial literacy can be a lifelong journey. So if you’re ready to take the next step, share the number one financial pointer you’d give to a fellow student for a chance to win $1,000*.

How to Apply

Open to all residents of Canada who are sixteen (16) years of age or older as of the date of entering the Contest, and are current registered students in good standing at an accredited university, college, or high school in Canada.

Must have a parent’s permission if under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.

Rules and Regulations

To enter, visit the contest website and create an account.

Complete the application form, and tell us:

● Share the number one financial pointer you’d give to a fellow student
● What makes you a deserving recipient
● How the scholarship would influence your academic and career goals

Applicants are welcome to include optional videos or imagery to support your entry.

A panel of judges will review each entry on the basis of the following weighted criteria:

  • Demonstrated financial pointer for students – 30%
    Creativity and Originality of the Submission – 30%
    Overall Quality of the Contestants’ Submission – 40%
