Does your entrepreneurial spirit run deep? Are you always looking for new side hustles to make a quick buck for tuition? Is GaryVee one of your most listened to podcasts? If this sounds like you, we’re pretty sure you’ve heard of the flip challenge. Tell us about your proudest side hustle, go-to gig, or best “flip” on Facebook marketplace for a chance to win $1,000*.

How to Apply

Open to all residents of Canada who are sixteen (16) years of age or older as of the date of entering the Contest, and are current registered students in good standing at an accredited university, college, CÉGEP or high school in Canada.

Must have a parent’s permission if under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.

Rules and Regulations

To enter, visit the contest website and create an account.

Complete the application form, and tell us:

  • Your proudest side hustle, go-to gig, or best “flip” on Facebook marketplace;
  • What makes you a deserving recipient;
  • How the scholarship would influence your academic and career goals.

Applicants are welcome to include optional videos or imagery to support your entry.

A panel of judges will review each entry on the basis of the following weighted criteria:

  • Demonstrated a side-hustle or entrepreneurial idea – 30%
  • Creativity and Originality of the Submission – 30%
  • Overall Quality of the Contestants’ Submission – 40%
